This workshop is meticulously crafted to empower coaches, surrogates and therapists with profound insights into the multifaceted realms of BDSM & Kink. Even those of us with ample experience in the realms of BDSM and Kink can encounter clients who have desires and needs which may leave us feeling unprepared. In this workshop you will learn new methods to enrich your practice of BDSM & Kink, and increase your capacity to guide clients as they explore their darker desires.
This workshop aims to provide practitioners with the knowledge, skills, and sensitivity necessary to effectively support individuals and couples engaged in BDSM & Kink dynamics. By fostering a deeper comprehension of the motivations, desires, and challenges within BDSM & Kink exploration, participants will be equipped to offer informed guidance and facilitate transformative experiences for their clients. The workshop will also examine the intersectionality of BDSM & Kink with identity, trauma, and mental health, gaining valuable insights into the therapeutic applications of kink-informed approaches. By embracing a sex-positive and non-judgmental framework, practitioners can create safe spaces for clients to explore their desires, boundaries, and fantasies openly.
This workshop will address common misconceptions and stigmas surrounding BDSM, fostering a climate of acceptance, respect, and inclusivity. By challenging societal norms and prejudices, participants will learn to advocate for the rights and autonomy of their clients, promoting greater understanding and acceptance within the therapeutic community.
